The Role:
As a Therapeutic Youth & Family Coordinator, you will support at-risk young people through culturally safe, trauma-informed practices. Your work will focus on case management, therapeutic family support, early intervention programs, and restorative community engagement. Collaborating with families, Elders, and stakeholders, you will help strengthen family relationships and promote positive life pathways while reducing youth justice involvement.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Youth Work, or related fields
- Experience working with vulnerable young people and families
- Knowledge of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and restorative approaches
- Experience working within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain required clearances
