In early 2021, our founder Donnchadh Lawlor launched Curamoir with just a laptop, a phone and a clear vision. It was time to create a healthcare recruitment agency defined by transparency and genuine care, not empty promises.
Drawing from his frontline experience in social work and mental health, Donnchadh set out to support healthcare employers and professionals during one of the most challenging times for healthcare in history. At that time, the healthcare system was under immense pressure. Hospitals, aged care, primary health and community services were struggling to find enough staff. Frontline professionals were stretched thin. Organisations had to adapt quickly to keep delivering care. Curamoir stepped in to support both sides, helping employers hire the talent they urgently needed, and connecting healthcare professionals with job opportunities.
Today, we’re a fast-growing team placing professionals in Allied Health, Community Services & Nursing roles across Australia. With offices in Sydney and Perth, we recruit nationwide, from capital cities to regional centres, rural towns and remote communities. Our nationwide reach enables us to make placements for a diverse range of needs, from metropolitan to remote area nursing recruitment to Aged Care recruitment.
