Giving Back to Community.

We Care About Our Community

At Curamoir Healthcare Recruitment, we’re proud to play our part in supporting people and communities who need it most.

As socially responsible recruiters, giving back to the community is part of who we are. Through time, fundraising, or hands-on support, our team looks for opportunities to stand alongside organisations making a real difference.

Over the years, we’ve joined initiatives that focus on mental health, youth homelessness, gender equality, and supporting children and families in need.

We’re always open to new partnerships with charities and not-for-profits. If you’d like to collaborate, we’d love to hear from you.

Youth Homelessness and Out-of-Home Care Services

The Curamoir team collected gifts and vouchers for children in youth homelessness refuges and young people living in out-of-home care, working with Taldumande Youth Services and The Burdekin Association.

Our aim was to make sure every child in these services had something special to open on Christmas morning. These organisations provide vital programs, housing, and support to young people in difficult circumstances. It was a privilege to help bring a little joy to their holiday season.

Fundraising for The Black Dog Institute

In August 2024, our team laced up their runners for the Westpac City2Surf 14km run, the largest fun run in the Southern Hemisphere.

Mental health is a cause close to our hearts, so supporting The Black Dog Institute felt like a perfect fit. This leading organisation works across research, clinical services, digital tools, and education to improve mental health outcomes nationwide.

It was a fun, competitive day out, with special congratulations to Aaron Byrne for claiming fastest time across the team!

Supporting The White Ribbon Foundation

Taking on the Sydney Half Marathon gave our team the chance to raise funds and awareness for The White Ribbon Foundation, a movement dedicated to ending male violence against women and girls.

The campaign was a chance to help start a conversation around reducing future violence, promoting gender equality, and building relationships based on respect.

Supporting Stepping Stone House

Almost 46,000 young Australians under 25 are without a safe place to sleep. For the past three years, Curamoir has supported Sleeping Under the Stars, an event that raises money for Stepping Stone House, an organisation providing accommodation and long-term support for young people experiencing homelessness.

Spending a night outside is a small gesture, but it helps shine a light on an issue that can’t be ignored.

Fundraising
for

Little Wings

In March 2025, Curamoir developed a partnership with Little Wings, raising funds and awareness by participating in the 2025 City2Surf.

Little Wings is a not-for-profit organisation that transports children from regional areas to children’s hospitals, free of charge. Their tagline, “Your Journey is Our Mission,” reflects their commitment to helping families access vital medical care, with the support of volunteers, partners, and community donors.

We were grateful to hear from William Andrew Bailey, who visited our team to share the impact Little Wings continues to have across Australia.

Supporting Activ Foundation

In 2025, our Perth team joined the City2Surf to raise funds for the Activ Foundation, supporting people with intellectual disability to live independent and meaningful lives.

Supporting Lou’s Place

For International Women’s Day 2025, our team supported Lou’s Place, a women’s refuge that provides safety, care, and person-centred support to women in crisis.

Together, we collected self-care items such as shampoo, conditioner, hair dye, and other essentials to support the dignity and wellbeing of women accessing Lou’s Place services.

We are proud to contribute to the important work Lou’s Place continues to do for women in need.
