The Role:
As Team Leader, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations of the Family and Community Support program, ensuring both compliance with funding requirements and exceptional service delivery. Lead and motivate a diverse team including caseworkers, psychologists, and community development workers to provide person-centred, trauma-informed support across Sydney’s Inner West and surrounding areas. You will coordinate case intake, manage workloads, facilitate reflective supervision, and actively contribute to continuous improvement, program design, and community engagement initiatives. This role blends hands-on leadership with strategic oversight, driving positive outcomes for families while fostering a healthy and collaborative team culture.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualification in a relevant field and proven leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of case management, safety planning, and child-safe practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead, motivate and liaise with stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, monitor KPIs, and drive team performance
  • Current Working with Children and Police checks (or ability to obtain)
