As Team Leader for the Link-Up program, you will oversee client and activity operations to ensure the delivery of culturally secure, trauma-informed healing services.
You will maintain a small caseload while leading and supporting caseworkers, coordinating event planning, and ensuring high standards through monitoring and reporting. This role is crucial in maintaining quality service that honours Aboriginal family worldviews and supports the healing journey. Collaboration with the Link-Up Manager and other team members will help drive continuous improvement and a safe workplace. Requirements:
- You must be of Aboriginal descent (essential as per Section 50D EEO Act)
- Diploma in Mental Health, Social & Emotional Wellbeing, Community Services, or related field
- Experience in case management and family tracing processes
- Strong understanding of Stolen Generations and contemporary Aboriginal issues
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills in a cultural context
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and database applications
- Current driver’s licence and National Police Certificate
- Ability to travel and work outside normal hours occasionally
