The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Psychologist to deliver high-quality psychological assessment and intervention while providing clinical leadership and mentoring within a multidisciplinary allied health team.

Working across a broad range of presentations, you will support children, young people and adults through evidence-based, person-centred interventions. Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will provide supervision and guidance to clinicians, contribute to service development initiatives and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes for clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering psychological assessments, therapy and evidence-based interventions

  • Developing individualised therapeutic support plans aligned with client goals

  • Supporting clients across mental health, disability, behavioural and psychosocial presentations

  • Providing clinical supervision, mentoring and guidance to psychologists and allied health practitioners

  • Participating in peer reviews, case consultations and multidisciplinary meetings

  • Supporting the development of clinical frameworks, resources and best-practice service delivery

  • Building strong relationships with families, carers, schools, GPs, employers, support coordinators and community stakeholders

  • Delivering services across clinic, community, outreach and telehealth environments

  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, reports and case notes

  • Contributing to quality improvement initiatives, compliance activities and organisational growth

Requirements
  • General registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Psychology

  • Demonstrated experience delivering psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention

  • Experience providing clinical supervision, mentoring or leadership within a psychology or allied health setting

  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed, recovery-oriented and person-centred practice

  • Knowledge of the NDIS, disability, mental health and community services sectors

  • Excellent communication, report writing and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment

  • Current Driver's Licence

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check and National Police Check
