The Role:
As the Speech Pathology Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to a skilled team of speech pathologists, supervisors, team leaders, and therapy aides. Your role balances clinical insights with strong management, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based services are delivered across a range of settings including clinics, schools, and community programs for children.
You will oversee staff supervision, professional development, and clinical governance to build leadership capability and maintain service excellence. Performance management, resource planning, and budget oversight will be critical to your success, alongside fostering productive school partnerships and driving operational sustainability. This role demands a compassionate but decisive leadership style capable of addressing challenges with confidence and care.
Working collaboratively across functions, you will support recruitment, staff retention, and the enhancement of clinical practice standards, ensuring the team meets key performance indicators and delivers measurable outcomes for children and families.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or relevant degree
- SPA Registration
- Minimum 5 years’ paediatric clinical experience
- Leadership or management experience (team leader, supervisor, or manager level)
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, and Police Check
- Medicare Provider Number registration
