The role:
In this clinic based Paediatric Speech Pathologist position, you will provide assessment, diagnosis and intervention for preschool and school aged children presenting with communication disorders. Working primarily within a private clinic setting in East Keilor, you will manage a diverse paediatric caseload including children with developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, social emotional challenges, learning difficulties and speech and language disorders. You will develop and implement individualised, evidence based therapy plans, review progress regularly, and prepare comprehensive assessment, NDIS and Medicare reports. Therapy will be delivered predominantly in clinic, with occasional sessions conducted in schools or preschools where required.

You will collaborate closely with families, teachers, psychologists and other health professionals, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach while maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation through cloud based systems. This role will see you managing an active caseload, meeting clearly defined clinical and documentation standards, and supporting measurable client outcomes through structured goal setting and regular reviews. You will also participate in mentoring, case discussions and ongoing professional development, while benefiting from administrative support, dedicated consulting space and a supportive team culture within a well established clinic environment.

Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology or relevant discipline
  • SPA registration
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Ability to work autonomously
