The role:
As a Speech Pathologist, you’ll work with children, young people, and adults to assess, diagnose, and support communication and swallowing needs. You’ll focus on helping people reach their full potential by delivering evidence-based therapy and collaborating closely with their families, guardians, and support networks. You’ll use your clinical skills to develop and implement personalised intervention plans, measure progress through outcome tools, and promote independence through capacity-building approaches. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to planning, case conferences, and client-centred care that makes a genuine difference in everyday life.

In this role, you’ll also play a key part in continuous improvement and service development. You’ll provide clinical supervision to allied health assistants or students when required, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold professional and ethical standards. You’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless support, advocate for inclusion, and share your expertise across the community. With a strong commitment to professional development, innovation, and high-quality outcomes, you’ll help shape a responsive, person-centred service that meets the needs of those you support.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology or relevant discipline
  • SPA registration
  • Valid NDIS Check
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Full driving license and access to reliable vehicle
