The Role
In this vital position, you will deliver comprehensive social work services to veterans, focusing on enhancing their psychological and social wellbeing.
You’ll conduct thorough assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and manage cases to address issues such as mental health, housing, and rehabilitation.
The role also includes community engagement and support at events to strengthen veteran connections and promote wellbeing.
Working closely with health professionals, you’ll facilitate referrals, support client self-determination, and ensure all documentation meets professional standards with a strong commitment to ethical practice and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Eligible for AASW membership
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Commitment to ethics and ongoing learning
- Experience with veterans preferred
