The role:
As a Senior Social Worker specialising in Alcohol and Other Drugs, you will deliver high-quality, culturally sensitive AOD services across Tennant Creek, surrounding remote communities, and hospital settings. You will provide clinical leadership and supervise allied health staff while managing a complex workload. You will build strong community relationships and ensure services meet clinical and cultural standards. Leading research, service development, and quality improvement projects will also be key to this role.
Requirements:
- Social Work qualification with AASW membership eligibility
- Clinical experience in AOD, including leadership and supervision
- Experience working with Aboriginal communities
- Manual driver's licence and willingness to travel remotely
- Working with Children clearance and immunisation compliance
