The Role:
As a Family Support Social Worker, you’ll work with referred families, providing trauma-informed support alongside Aboriginal Family Wellness Workers. Your focus will be on strengthening family ties, supporting healing, and addressing complex issues with culturally safe practices. You’ll handle case management, create support plans, and collaborate with partners. A compassionate, relationship-driven approach is essential.
Requirements:
- Degree in social work, counselling, or human services
- Eligible for professional registration
- Experience working with trauma-affected families or child protection
- Valid driver’s license and Criminal History Check
- Knowledge of trauma, cultural safety, and community-led practices
