Our client is seeking a passionate and skilled Social Worker to join their dedicated team delivering evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention services to Australian job seekers. The Role

The Social Worker will be responsible for providing tailored therapeutic services that help clients achieve independence and work readiness. Working closely with the State Manager and other team members, the Social Worker will:

  • Deliver vocational interventions, including resume building, interview skills, and goal setting

  • Facilitate structured group programs to simulate real work environments

  • Run on-site clinics offering evidence-based interventions to individuals and groups

  • Develop and implement positive strategies to support stress management, wellbeing, and confidence

  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including Employment Service providers, to support return-to-work outcomes

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with service level agreements

  • Promote services to create repeat referrals and new opportunities

Requirements

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • A recognised Social Work degree

  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)

  • A current National Criminal History Check

  • A valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a vehicle

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication to diverse audiences

  • Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities and work efficiently

  • Strong rapport-building skills and the ability to foster positive stakeholder relationships

  • Understanding of confidentiality, privacy, and inclusive language principles

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills and the ability to work across various systems

  • Commitment to the values of people-first service, quality, results, integrity, and innovation
