The role:
Based in Meekatharra, you will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering youth mental health and community engagement services tailored to local needs. This dynamic role involves building trust, fostering partnerships, and supporting young people, especially within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
You’ll manage day-to-day operations, engage with Elders and stakeholders, supervise staff, and contribute to reporting. Some work during your week off in Perth may be required. This hands-on role is flexible and responsive to the changing priorities of the youth and community you serve.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, OT, or Mental Health Nursing
- Leadership and supervisory experience
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth
- 5+ years in health or community services
- National Police Clearance, Driver’s Licence, and Working with Children Check
