The role:

As the Service Manager in a 100+ bed residential aged care facility in Albury, you will take ownership of delivering best-practice operational and clinical services that enhance the lives of our residents. Your leadership will foster a positive, safe, and collaborative culture that prioritises emotional and physical wellbeing and adheres strictly to accreditation and aged care standards.

You will act as a key liaison between allied health, hospitality, lifestyle teams, residents, families, and the broader community, ensuring seamless service delivery across all facets of care. Beyond team management, your business acumen will be critical in overseeing budgets, efficient rostering, occupancy, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the AN-ACC framework.

Your role is integral to shaping a supportive environment where every team member thrives and every resident receives tailored care that respects their individuality and dignity.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in senior roles within large aged care homes (100+ beds)
  • Strong people management and leadership skills, including staff development, succession planning, and change management
  • Sound business skills encompassing budget management, rostering, and occupancy oversight
  • In-depth knowledge of AN-ACC, accreditation processes, and aged care standards
  • Demonstrated commitment to person-centred care and teamwork
  • Excellent organisational, time management, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • A compassionate, adaptable, and positive approach to leadership
  • Ability to foster respectful and collaborative relationships across teams
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or in the process of obtaining)
