The role:
As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will lead the delivery of high quality, evidence based speech pathology services to participants across the lifespan, supporting infants, children, adolescents and adults to achieve meaningful functional outcomes. You will undertake complex assessments across expressive and receptive language, speech sound production, social communication, fluency, voice, AAC and, where appropriate, swallowing and mealtime management. Working across home, school, childcare, community and telehealth settings, you will design and oversee tailored therapy programs aligned to participant goals and NDIS plans, ensuring measurable progress through standardised and functional outcome measures. You will exercise advanced clinical reasoning to identify risks or barriers, adjust intervention strategies, and maintain exemplary documentation that meets professional, legal and NDIS compliance standards.
In this senior capacity, you will provide clinical leadership and structured supervision to Speech Pathologists and Allied Health Assistants, supporting delegation, reviewing documentation, and embedding consistent standards of care across the service. You will prepare and quality assure detailed NDIS reports including Functional Capacity Assessments, Assistive Technology assessments, Home and Living assessments and progress summaries, ensuring clarity, clinical integrity and compliance. You will play a key role in multidisciplinary collaboration, stakeholder engagement and service development initiatives, while managing a complex caseload and contributing to strategic quality improvement. Ongoing professional development, reflective practice and mentorship will form part of your remit, positioning you as a clinical leader within the team.
Requirements- Minimum Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology or relevant discipline
