The role:
In this role you step into a blend of clinical practice and leadership where you guide a group of clinicians while continuing to deliver high quality therapy services. You provide day to day supervision, run joint sessions, review documentation, and ensure your team is supported to meet their clinical, billable and professional goals. You take responsibility for shaping a specialist area, developing resources, organising learning opportunities, managing risk, and nurturing a positive team culture. You act as the point of contact for resolving issues, giving feedback, and maintaining strong communication with managers.
You also lead the rhythm of the team through regular meetings, structured supervision, and active involvement in recruitment and induction. You ensure safe practice across all settings and uphold all workplace health and safety expectations. Your ability to prioritise, coach others, and manage a varied workload allows you to support clinicians of different experience levels while keeping service delivery running smoothly. Through your leadership you create an environment where people feel confident, capable and able to deliver great outcomes for the individuals they support.
Essential Criteria- Minimum Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology or relevant discipline
