The role:
In this senior position, you will work closely with families to identify their goals and provide tailored occupational therapy interventions that promote children’s skills through play and daily activities. You will coach families and educators to embed family-centered practices and create inclusive environments that foster development. Efficient caseload management and collaboration with other professionals will be essential to achieving measurable therapy outcomes while adhering to quality standards and legislative requirements, including the NDIS framework. Your expertise will contribute to shaping effective, trans-disciplinary approaches to paediatric therapy within the team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in paediatric occupational therapy
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver strengths-based, family-centered, play-based therapy
  • Strong communication, coaching, and cultural competency skills
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Check
  • Willingness to travel locally as required
