The role
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will deliver evidence-based assessments and goal-oriented interventions to support participants in enhancing their daily functioning, independence, and quality of life. You will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy services both in-person and via telehealth, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each participant. Your role involves working collaboratively with families, support networks, and interdisciplinary teams to create individualised support plans. You’ll also take the lead in liaising with external stakeholders, prescribing assistive technology, and contributing to professional knowledge and innovation in clinical practice.

You will be expected to provide clinical supervision to junior staff and students, maintain timely and accurate documentation, and support the achievement of billable targets and service outcomes. Alongside your clinical duties, you’ll engage in quality improvement initiatives and uphold health and safety standards. Your contribution will extend beyond service delivery, as you mentor peers, participate in team development, and uphold ethical standards in all interactions. This is a dynamic role requiring strong time management, adaptability, and a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.


Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant discipline
  • AHPRA registration 
  • Min 4 years' experience
  • Valid NDIS Check
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
