The role:

Curamoir Healthcare is seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician to join a national Not-for-Profit supporting young people aged 12–18 with complex and longstanding mental health challenges. In this role, you’ll provide assessment, evidence-based interventions, and recovery planning for young people and their families who often fall between the primary and tertiary mental health systems. You’ll work within an integrated, multidisciplinary team alongside clinicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and peer workers to deliver consistent and effective care.

You’ll manage a caseload, coordinate treatment, and complete timely reporting and client documentation, with access to regular clinical supervision and professional development opportunities. Experience working with CALD, LGBTQIA+, or ATSI communities is highly valued. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in bridging service gaps and improving the mental health and well-being of young people and their families.

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing, 
  • Relevant registration associated with degree
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in youth mental health
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated experience working with young people who have disengaged with education, employment and social activities
  • Proficient knowledge of current relevant legislation, regulatory frameworks and practice standards
  • Driving license
  • Working With Children 
  • Police Check
