The role:
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager. You will conduct clinical assessments, plan and coordinate care, and evaluate treatment plans to meet the needs of residential aged care residents. Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to professional and regulatory standards will be essential, as well as actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
This role requires a commitment to resident dignity and safety, alongside proactive communication and problem-solving.
This is a varied role in a small facility, where you will work over AM PM and ND shifts on the floor, but also be involved in care plans and other duties.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Registered Nurse) or equivalent
- Current Police Clearance, Senior First Aid, and Driver’s Licence
- Up-to-date influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations
- Strong clinical knowledge in aged care, including chronic and acute care management
- Ability to mentor care staff and work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
