The role:
As a Level 1 Registered Nurse, you will provide person-led care, overseeing the wellbeing and clinical needs of residents during your shifts. You will manage care plans, working closely with families, allied health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, trauma-informed support. Your responsibilities include administering medication, monitoring clinical changes, and acting as the on-shift clinical leader. You will also play an important role in workplace health and safety, including acting as Fire Warden and coordinating emergency responses. This position offers a strong foundation in clinical nursing within a community-focused aged care environment.

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum two years’ experience in aged care or a related field
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to identify and escalate changes in resident condition
  • Commitment to compassionate, resident-centred care and teamwork
  • Current First Aid Certificate, including resuscitation
  • NDIS worker screening clearance or willingness to obtain
