The Role
The Regional Business Development Partner plays a key role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships, and ensuring a smooth customer journey from initial enquiry through to onboarding.
Working closely with Regional Managers and cross-functional teams—including Quality & Safeguarding, Operational Performance, People & Culture, and Learning & Capability—you’ll help deliver sustainable, customer-focused supports that empower people to live their best lives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to qualified customer enquiries and managing the process through to onboarding
- Building and maintaining a robust customer pipeline and database
- Coordinating documentation and onboarding processes for new customers
- Developing strong relationships with customers, families, carers, and community partners
- Collaborating with internal teams to achieve best practice outcomes
- Representing our client at networking and promotional events, sharing insights and identifying growth opportunities
- Promoting services to attract new customers and tracking outcomes for reporting
Criteria
You are a confident communicator with strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the disability and community services sector. You enjoy building meaningful relationships and take pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Experience interpreting NDIS Plans to support tailored service delivery
- A solid background in business development or sales within the disability sector
- Experience working across Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Flexi Home environments
- Experience in Support Coordination with a focus on engagement and planning
- A tertiary qualification in Business Management or a related discipline
- 3+ years’ experience in business or customer service management
- Proven success in customer-facing roles within values-based organisations
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High level of computer literacy and comfort with technology
