The Role
As the Quality Management Specialist, you will play a key role in coordinating and strengthening the organisation’s Quality Management System (QMS). Working closely with managers and teams across the business, you’ll ensure the effective implementation of quality frameworks including ISO 9001, NDIS Practice Standards, Human Services Quality Standards, and Aged Care Quality Standards.
You’ll coordinate internal audits, support external audit readiness, oversee document control systems, and manage organisational policy and procedure updates. The role also includes supporting training, privacy compliance, and contributing to workplace safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys collaborating across departments, driving quality initiatives, and supporting an organisation to achieve and sustain high standards of service delivery.
Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in quality management or compliance within community or human services settings
- Strong knowledge of quality frameworks such as ISO 9001, NDIS Practice Standards, Human Services Quality Standards, and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Proven experience coordinating internal audits and supporting external audit processes
- Strong understanding of safeguarding obligations and child safe principles
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report writing skills
- Ability to influence, engage, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with document or incident management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Donesafe)
- (Desirable) Experience with privacy legislation or Auslan skills
