As Quality and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the organisation’s quality, risk, and compliance systems to ensure safe, high-quality, and person-centred aged care services. Your strategic oversight will embed continuous improvement while ensuring full compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements including the Aged Care Quality Standards. You will partner closely with clinical teams, leadership, and governance bodies to foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and excellence.
Your role will also involve managing audits, risk frameworks, incident and complaint management, as well as reporting to the executive and board. You will be the key driver in maintaining robust governance processes that safeguard residents, staff, and organisational integrity, ensuring every audit, investigation, and compliance activity contributes to positive and sustained service improvements.
Requirements:- Current AHPRA-registered Registered Nurse with no notations
- Proven experience in quality, risk, or compliance roles within aged care or a related regulated environment
- In-depth knowledge of aged care quality standards, compliance frameworks, and legislative requirements
- Demonstrated ability to manage audits, accreditation, and regulatory reporting
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Willingness to travel between multiple sites and flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed
