Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Psychologist to join their growing clinic, dedicated to supporting the mental health, wellbeing, and overall development of children and young people. The Role

The Psychologist will provide evidence-based interventions and assessments tailored to the unique needs of children, adolescents, and their families. This position has been created to help meet growing demand and reduce client waitlists.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality psychological supports through assessments, treatment planning, and interventions

  • Building strong therapeutic relationships with children, young people, and their families

  • Collaborating with parents, caregivers, schools, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless, consistent care

  • Maintaining accurate and professional clinical records and documentation

  • Actively participating in supervision, training, and professional growth opportunities

  • Working in line with ethical, legal, and best-practice standards


Requirements

Essential:

  • Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA

  • Demonstrated clinical experience supporting children and young people

  • Current Working with Children’s Check (Employee)

  • Eligibility to work in Australia

  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a car (or reliable transport for client visits)

Desirable:

  • Experience in a range of settings (clinic, home, school, community)

  • Experience working with children with disabilities or developmental delays

  • Knowledge of and/or experience working within the NDIS framework

Personal qualities:

  • Passion for helping children and teens thrive

  • Energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to make therapy engaging and meaningful

  • Commitment to high-quality, client-centred care

  • Ability to collaborate, adapt, and bring positivity to a team environment
