The Role

Our client is seeking a Clinical or Registered Psychologist located in Belmore with an interest in paediatrics to join their Early Intervention & Allied Health team.

Working within a collaborative, transdisciplinary environment, you will provide psychological services to children aged 0–18 with additional needs and their families across clinic, community and telehealth settings.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments (cognitive, behavioural, emotional)
  • Administering and interpreting standardised assessments
  • Writing high-quality reports with clear recommendations
  • Delivering evidence-based interventions and supporting treatment planning
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
  • Supporting families and referring to additional services where appropriate
  • Maintaining best practice aligned with current research

Requirements

  • Registered or Clinical Psychologist with current AHPRA registration
  • Experience working with children and adolescents, ideally within early intervention
  • Ability to work within multidisciplinary/transdisciplinary teams
  • Strong assessment, report writing and communication skills
  • Experience working in naturalistic settings (home, school, community) highly regarded
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Working With Children Check, Police Check and driver’s licence
