The Role
Our client is seeking a Clinical or Registered Psychologist located in Belmore with an interest in paediatrics to join their Early Intervention & Allied Health team.
Working within a collaborative, transdisciplinary environment, you will provide psychological services to children aged 0–18 with additional needs and their families across clinic, community and telehealth settings.
Key responsibilities include:- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments (cognitive, behavioural, emotional)
- Administering and interpreting standardised assessments
- Writing high-quality reports with clear recommendations
- Delivering evidence-based interventions and supporting treatment planning
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Supporting families and referring to additional services where appropriate
- Maintaining best practice aligned with current research
Requirements
- Registered or Clinical Psychologist with current AHPRA registration
- Experience working with children and adolescents, ideally within early intervention
- Ability to work within multidisciplinary/transdisciplinary teams
- Strong assessment, report writing and communication skills
- Experience working in naturalistic settings (home, school, community) highly regarded
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Working With Children Check, Police Check and driver’s licence
