The Role
As a Registered Psychologist, you will utilise your clinical expertise to provide best-practice therapy, assessment and intervention to clients seeking support across a wide range of presentations.
You will:
- Provide high-quality psychological intervention (1:1 and group-based)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for emotional, cognitive, behavioural and developmental functioning
- Formulate diagnoses and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions across modalities including CBT, DBT, psychodynamic approaches, mindfulness and solution-focused therapy
- Facilitate psychoeducation sessions and skill-building workshops
- Provide services under Medicare, NDIS, EAP, Workers Compensation and CTP schemes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in supervision, case reviews and team meetings
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation
- Contribute to corporate consulting work, including training, wellbeing programs, leadership coaching, workplace surveys and data analysis
- Support group program development, community engagement and service innovation
Requirements
Qualifications & Registration:
- Postgraduate qualifications in Psychology
- Full registration with AHPRA
- Eligibility for Medicare and SIRA provider registration
- Minimum 3 years’ clinical experience
- Experience working with complex presentations, including trauma, disability, PTSD, family violence and mental health challenges
- Strong capability in child, adolescent and family work (ages 5–25)
- Demonstrated experience in cognitive, developmental and neuropsychological assessments, including WISC-V, WIAT-III, WAIS, WPPSI, ASD and ADHD assessment tools
- Experience working across Medicare, NDIS, EAP, CTP and Workers Compensation frameworks
- Highly developed counselling and therapeutic skills
- Creativity and flexibility in treatment planning
- Excellent communication, organisational and time-management abilities
- Strong community engagement and relationship-building skills
- Resilience, empathy, integrity and a client-centred approach
- Ability to work towards billable targets and manage a varied caseload
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Check and Working with Children Check
- COVID-19 vaccination evidence
- Current driver’s licence
- First Aid and CPR
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
