The Role

Our client is seeking a Psychologist to join their Allied Health and Community team, supporting individuals through their Therapy and Behaviour Support Service.

This role offers the opportunity to step into a position that blends clinical work with professional development and leadership exposure, supporting both clients and the wider team.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivering psychological assessment and intervention for children, adults and individuals with disability
  • Supporting NDIS participants, including diagnostic assessments and early intervention
  • Building capacity for individuals, families and support networks
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the region
  • Contributing to professional development, supervision and service improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
  • Board Approved Supervisor 
  • Experience in paediatric assessment and therapy, particularly with NDIS participants
  • Understanding of early intervention approaches for children (0–8 years)
  • Experience supporting adults with disability across varied settings
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
  • Understanding of confidentiality, WHS and culturally safe practice
