About the role:
As Practice Manager, you will oversee day-to-day clinical service operations, ensuring efficient, integrated, and high-quality care. You will lead and support a diverse team, coordinate patient flow, and implement best practice models that improve service accessibility and continuity. Your role will be central to fostering a culturally respectful environment that aligns with community values and strategic goals.

You will collaborate closely with clinical leaders, executive peers, and external stakeholders to drive continuous quality improvement and compliance. Managing workforce coordination, service performance, and risk will be key to maintaining operational excellence in a complex healthcare setting.

Key requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Practice Management, Nursing, or related field
  • Extensive clinical and operational experience in general practice or primary health care
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of government funding models and Medicare billing
  • Familiarity with accreditation standards (RACGP, NSQHS) and clinical systems
  • Working With Children Check and National Police Check
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and data analysis skills
  • Commitment to cultural safety and community-controlled healthcare values
