The Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Practice Coordinator or Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a new community health clinic in Blacktown.
Reporting to the Head of Programs, you'll oversee a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, allied health, dental, reception and administration staff, ensuring the clinic operates efficiently, safely and in line with accreditation standards.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing daily clinic operations and staff.
  • Coordinating rosters, recruitment and practice administration.
  • Supporting budgets, reporting and compliance.
  • Leading AGPAL accreditation and quality improvement.
  • Building relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
This is a fully office-based role where you'll play a key part in launching a new service for the local community.
Criteria
  • Experience managing a GP practice or multidisciplinary medical clinic.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Knowledge of AGPAL accreditation and clinical governance.
  • Financial, operational and reporting experience.
  • Community health, NFP or NGO experience highly regarded.
  • Experience with Best Practice, Dentally and Microsoft 365 is desirable.
  • Current Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
  • Current WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Mental Health First Aid and additional community languages (Hindi, Arabic or Mandarin) are highly regarded.
