Behaviour Support Practitioner - Core, Proficient or Advanced Level.
Not registered yet?   Full training can be provided if you have a relevant tertiary qualification.

The role:
As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will assess, design, implement, and evaluate behaviour support services tailored to the needs and goals of adults with disability, aligned with their NDIS plans. Your work will involve conducting functional behaviour assessments and developing individualised behaviour support plans.

You’ll collaborate closely with psychologists and key stakeholders to ensure interventions are timely, effective, and meet regulatory standards. Maintaining billable KPIs while supporting colleagues in delivering best-practice behaviour strategies is essential.

Requirements:
  • Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner - Core, Specialist or Advanced  OR Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work and a willingness to learn 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with challenging behaviours and disability support
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NDIS and person-centred behaviour support principles
  • Ability to deliver and monitor complex behaviour support plans
  • Current Working with Children Check, Criminal History Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with capacity to work independently or in a team
