Our client is seeking a Registered Psychologist to join their multidisciplinary allied health clinic on a part-time or contract basis.
This role focuses on providing high-quality assessment, intervention and therapeutic support to children, adolescents and their families using a neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based approach.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with families, educators and multidisciplinary clinicians to support positive outcomes across clinic, school and community settings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing evidence-based interventions and therapy to children and adolescents
- Completing school visits for diagnostic clarification, behaviour management and support planning
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with families and stakeholders
- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary allied health team
- Delivering services across clinic, telehealth and community environments
- Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents
- Strong understanding of professional ethics and evidence-based practice
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
- Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds
The successful candidate will also require:
- Current Working With Children Check
- National Police Check
- International Police Check (where applicable)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Relevant registrations and compliance checks required for practice
