The Role

Our client is seeking a Registered Psychologist to join their multidisciplinary allied health clinic on a part-time or contract basis.

This role focuses on providing high-quality assessment, intervention and therapeutic support to children, adolescents and their families using a neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based approach.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with families, educators and multidisciplinary clinicians to support positive outcomes across clinic, school and community settings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing evidence-based interventions and therapy to children and adolescents
  • Completing school visits for diagnostic clarification, behaviour management and support planning
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with families and stakeholders
  • Collaborating within a multidisciplinary allied health team
  • Delivering services across clinic, telehealth and community environments
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents
  • Strong understanding of professional ethics and evidence-based practice
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds

The successful candidate will also require:

  • Current Working With Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • International Police Check (where applicable)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  • Relevant registrations and compliance checks required for practice
