The role:
In this role, you will deliver evidence based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to support paediatric participants in achieving meaningful functional goals, with a strong emphasis on person centred practice and measurable outcomes. You will manage a paediatric caseload, working across home, school and community environments while documenting services accurately and ensuring supports are delivered within agreed timeframes. You will collaborate closely with families, carers, educators and other professionals to build practical therapy plans that promote independence, participation and long term progress, while continually identifying opportunities to enhance client outcomes and service quality.
You will contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture while maintaining responsibility for your own performance, service delivery targets and professional standards. This will involve liaising with managers around progress, managing priorities effectively, building strong referral pathways in the community and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders. You will uphold professional registration requirements, maintain confidentiality and ethical practice, and continue developing your skills through ongoing learning, feedback and reflective practice, ensuring your work consistently supports high quality therapy delivery and sustainable service growth.
Requirements- Minimum Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant discipline
- AHPRA registration
