The Role:
As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you’ll deliver vital support to children facing diverse developmental and occupational challenges. Your expertise will guide comprehensive assessments and the creation of personalised therapy goals in collaboration with families and educators. Using evidence-based tools, you will focus on improving children’s functional independence in areas like self-care, motor skills, and emotional regulation.

You’ll deliver therapy across multiple settings including clinic, home, school, and community, taking a holistic and family-centred approach. Coaching parents, recommending adaptive equipment, and contributing to multidisciplinary planning form core parts of your role, ensuring children receive seamless and effective care. Managing your caseload efficiently while maintaining excellent clinical standards and meeting productivity targets will be key to your success.

Experienced therapists may have opportunities to mentor junior staff or supervise students, further enriching your leadership journey.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy or a related discipline
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • National Police Check
