As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you’ll work closely with children and young people, to help them build the skills they need to participate fully in everyday life—whether at home, school, or out in the community. You’ll take a person-centred, strengths-based approach to assessment and intervention, focusing on capacity building and empowerment. You’ll collaborate with clients and their support networks to set realistic goals, develop intervention plans, and track progress using evidence-based tools and outcome measures. Your role also involves liaising with other professionals and services to ensure holistic, coordinated care that makes a real difference in people’s daily lives.
In this role, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary therapy and behaviour support team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. You’ll uphold high professional standards, engage in regular supervision, and contribute to developing and improving therapy practices and service delivery. You’ll take responsibility for accurate documentation, maintain compliance with NDIS and professional standards, and actively participate in training and development opportunities. Above all, you’ll model compassion, professionalism, and integrity—helping to create inclusive communities where every individual can thrive.
Requirements- Minimum Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant discipline
- General AHPRA registration
- Valid NDIS Check
- Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- Full driving license and access to reliable vehicle
