Lead a team of OTs making a difference in WA

The role:

As an Occupational Therapist Lead, you will provide expert clinical guidance and support to your team while actively managing your own caseload. You will deliver comprehensive assessments, personalised intervention plans, and evidence-based therapy to promote functional independence and participation. This role includes conducting functional capacity assessments and implementing assistive technology and home modification strategies. You will collaborate closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and support.

Regular travel to regional locations such as Kalgoorlie, Albany, Carnarvon, and Geraldton is required, typically once every four weeks for up to four days. Your leadership will also influence clinical practice, policy development, and quality improvement initiatives within the service.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in mental health and disability settings, with knowledge of the NDIS framework
  • Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience, including supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Current Working with Children Check and NDIS clearance
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally
