About the Role:

As Nurse Unit Manager, you will oversee a dynamic nursing department responsible for acute in-patient care, urgent care stabilization, transitional care, and residential aged care. Your leadership ensures high-quality, person-centered care, managing resources, rosters, and clinical governance.

You will support and develop your nursing team, coordinate care across multiple services, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior management. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead in a rural setting with varied and fulfilling responsibilities.


Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Proven leadership and team management experience in nursing
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Commitment and passion for rural health and community care
  • Valid driver’s license, National Police Check, and relevant clearances
