In this pivotal role, you will oversee clinical excellence and manage day-to-day operations, including rostering, staff performance reviews, and quality assurance. You’ll foster a culture that values teamwork, high standards, and compliance with national care standards. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals will ensure exceptional care delivery and strong community engagement. Additionally, you will manage budgets and resources to provide efficient, safe, and high-quality services.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Degree qualification in Nursing and current AHPRA registration
  • Proven clinical leadership experience with strong team management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee budgets and coordinate staff
  • Excellent communication and mentoring capabilities
  • Solid knowledge of quality improvement and accreditation processes
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development

Desirable skills include postgraduate qualifications in Acute Care Management, HR, or Gerontology Nursing, and familiarity with the Studer Program.
