The Role
:
As a Mental Health Clinician, you’ll provide culturally safe, youth-focused mental health services tailored to the unique needs of the Meekatharra community. Your work will be varied and community-led - from therapeutic counselling and group work to practical support like attending court or assisting with any needs of the young people in the community. Collaboration with local agencies and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities is key, ensuring all care respects cultural protocols and promotes connection.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, OT, Mental Health Nursing, or equivalent
- Current professional registration
- 3+ years’ mental health experience, preferably regional
- Experience with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Driver’s licence, Police and Working with Children Checks
