The Role:
As Manager of Allied Health, you will be responsible for the operational management and development of allied health services within the hospital. You will oversee day-to-day team operations, ensuring services are delivered effectively and aligned with strategic and clinical objectives. This role involves both leadership and potential clinical responsibilities, working closely with senior management and multidisciplinary teams to foster innovative, patient-centred care.
You will drive continuous improvement in clinical governance, workforce development, and service expansion, while managing resources prudently and ensuring compliance with professional standards and organizational policies. Your leadership will be key to building strong partnerships within and outside the hospital to enhance service delivery.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology/ Allied Health / Mental Health discipline and current registration/membership with relevant Board or Association
- Significant senior-level clinical allied health experience
- Proven leadership and change management skills in a complex healthcare environment
- Strong ability to implement new initiatives and promote allied health services
- Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in Management or related field; knowledge of HR principles, Equal Opportunity, and OHS legislation
