As an Intensive Support Case Worker – Youth, you will engage directly with young people and their families to support safety, well-being, and positive development. You’ll develop culturally responsive support plans, provide advocacy, and work collaboratively with community agencies.
Your role involves case management, coordinating services, and promoting educational and health-related outcomes. You will be instrumental in sustaining respectful networks and contributing to continuous improvement in service delivery while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
Requirements:
- Diploma or higher in Child, Family and Youth Interventions, Community Services, Counselling, or equivalent
- Experience in Aboriginal community health or welfare services with cultural competency
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal, and case management skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and youth-focused service delivery
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and client information systems
- Current NT driver’s licence and ability to obtain Working with Children Check (Ochre Card)
