The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join their executive team as Head of Psychological Services . This position is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of psychological services that support recovery and prevention of psychological injuries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the strategic and operational performance of psychological programs across all service lines.
- Driving service quality, financial outcomes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Overseeing workforce planning, recruitment, training, and performance management for clinical and operational staff.
- Partnering with business development and account management teams to support customer success and drive growth.
- Providing high-level advice to leadership on psychological service delivery and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in designing and delivering psychological or mental health programs, ideally in a healthcare or return-to-work setting.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage clinical and operational teams.
- Strategic mindset with a track record of driving business growth and service innovation.
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and executive stakeholders.
- High-level communication, emotional intelligence, and decision-making skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, mental health, or a related discipline.
