As a Financial Counsellor, you will provide crucial assessment, counselling, and outreach services to clients and their families. Offering financial management support, advocating with credit providers, and delivering educational workshops on financial literacy, you will empower clients to navigate their financial challenges effectively.
- Diploma of Financial Counselling (applicants currently studying will be considered)
- Minimum three years of experience in case management or a relevant community service role
- Demonstrated understanding of consumer rights and financial legislation
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal staff and external stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with diverse backgrounds
- Passion for social justice and improving the lives of vulnerable individuals
- Willingness to travel to remote communities for outreach services
