The Role
Provide person-centred, evidence-based speech pathology services to children and adults across home, school, workplace, and community settings in Mount Gambier.
You will complete a range of assessments (speech, language, communication, social communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing as relevant), develop and implement therapy plans aligned to participant goals, and deliver interventions that support participation, independence, and quality of life.
You’ll also provide recommendations and strategies for communication supports (including AAC where appropriate), and work collaboratively with families, carers, schools, and other key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Speech Pathology degree
- SPA Registration
- Current driver’s licence
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in a FIFO model and regional environments
- Experience in community NDIS therapy
