Director of Care – Aged Care | Western Sydney

The role:
As Director of Care, you will provide expert leadership across clinical operations, ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. Partnering with the Facility Manager and supported by Clinical Care Coordinators, you will mentor and empower care teams to deliver person-centred, high-quality care. Your focus will include clinical governance, risk management, and fostering strong relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Driving continuous improvement initiatives, you will champion best practice standards and promote a positive workplace culture.

Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration (essential)
  • 3-5 years of clinical leadership experience in aged care, preferably in large facilities (100+ beds)
  • Proven operational management skills in aged care environments
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in clinical and operational IT systems, documentation, and reporting
  • Passionate about care quality and team development
