The role:
As the Deputy Allied Health Manager, you’ll balance leadership and clinical practice, working closely with the Allied Health Manager to ensure your team delivers high-quality, person-centred services. You’ll provide guidance, mentoring, and support to clinicians, helping them achieve their professional goals and maintain compliance with NDIS and organisational standards. You’ll lead by example, modelling excellence and fostering a culture built on respect, trust, and continuous improvement. Your leadership will ensure that the team meets performance targets, upholds best practice, and delivers exceptional outcomes for clients.
Alongside your leadership duties, you’ll continue to provide direct speech pathology services to a diverse caseload, ensuring each client receives evidence-based, individualised care. You’ll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, empowering clients and their families to reach their goals. You’ll play an active role in training, quality improvement, and professional development initiatives, ensuring your practice and your team’s approach stay current and aligned with best practice standards.
Requirements- Minimum Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology or relevant discipline
- SPA registration
- 4 years' experience as a Speech Pathologist
- Supervision experience is essential
- NDIS Workers Screening Check and Orientation Modules
- Police Check / Working with Children Check
- Driving License
