Provide trauma-informed support to children, families & communities in Tennant Creek.
On Offer:
- $70-75 per hour, including casual loading
- 3-month locum assignment which could be extended or lead to permanent employment
- Return flights from anywhere in Australia (or fuel reimbursement)

The Role:
You will deliver high-quality support to children and families, and communities affected by trauma. You will conduct assessments, create safe and empowering environments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote healing and wellbeing.
You will also contribute to training and capacity-building initiative, provide outreach to remote communities and advocacy for trauma-informed approaches across systems will be key components of your role.
- Tertiary qualification and registration in Social Work or Counselling.
- Postgraduate training or certification in trauma-informed practice desirable
- Experience in crisis intervention, family violence, mental health, or community development
- Prior experience working in remote Australian communities and/or providing culturally sensitive support to First Nations people is essential.

- Recent police check and NT Working With Childrens Check (or willing to obtain)
