The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day delivery of disability support services while leading best practice at a service level.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating supports aligned to participant plans, ensuring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, and fostering a safe, inclusive and empowering environment for clients and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating daily service operations to ensure safe, engaging and compliant service delivery
- Leading, supervising and supporting frontline staff through coaching, role modelling and on-the-ground guidance
- Supporting participants to achieve personal goals, community inclusion and meaningful daily activities
- Ensuring accurate and timely reporting, including incidents, WHS and NDIS-related requirements
- Managing operational workforce planning, including rostering and resource allocation
- Contributing to service budgets, financial oversight and operational viability
- Acting as the primary on-site contact while embedding a culture of continuous improvement, active support and safeguarding
Requirements
- Full AHPRA Registration as a Nurse
- Proven experience leading, supervising or coordinating staff in a disability or human services setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage compliance, reporting and operational responsibilities
- Willingness to work on-site 5 days per week
- Confident computer literacy, with the ability to learn and use online systems and MS Office
- Current ndis check
- Current WWCC
- Current Drivers Licence
