As the Clinical Quality & Compliance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring clinical care aligns with best practices, organisational standards, and regulatory requirements. Working closely with management and care teams, you will conduct clinical audits, oversee compliance activities, and support readiness for accreditation under the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Your daily responsibilities include reviewing clinical documentation, guiding nursing and care staff through education and mentorship, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to drive positive outcomes for residents. You’ll also be involved in incident management, risk mitigation, and maintaining clinical governance to uphold the highest standards of care.
Requirements:- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Proven experience in residential aged care with strong clinical assessment expertise
- Thorough knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance frameworks
- Experience in performing clinical audits, quality improvements, and accreditation preparations
- Ability to conduct detailed clinical documentation reviews and care planning
- Skills in incident management, risk assessment, and corrective action development
- Strong communication and mentoring abilities to support and lead nursing teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical software systems
